We recycle everything on our farm; old chicken manure is gold for gardens.

Our chicken manure is aged one and two years in our state-of-the-art
low-tech but highly effective storage facility;
ventilation pipes bring in fresh air by convection to help microbes
break down the manure,
and a felt tarp cover wicks away excess rain to keep the moisture levels
optimum while reducing odors.
Occasionally we turn the piles to keep those microbes working hot
(140 degrees F); if you catch a whiff
you'll know it's nature working for you and your plant.
