This year we’ve stayed open until mid-August, instead of our usual late-July closing date, because our extensive daylily beds are in bloom.
We began planting daylilies a number of years back and because they’ve grown so, we’ve since had to create two new areas for them. In total we now have more than 50 varieties. All have just stunning flowers, as you can see from below. Some have blooms that are more than five inches across, and the intensity of the colors is unbelievable.
